Universal Music has again engaged me to do the online promotion of a priority dance release: Afrojack's "Forget the World" is the debut album of the world-famous artist and DJ.
Grammy Award winning DJ & Producer Afrojack is set to release his debut album ‘Forget The World’ on May 19th, through Island Records/PM:AM Recordings. The second single from the album ‘Ten Feet Tall’ (ft. Wrabel) is out now, a larger than life track set to take over the summer. The highly-anticipated album release includes collaborations with the likes of Snoop Dogg (‘Dynamite’), Sting (‘Catch Tomorrow’), Wiz Khalifa (‘Too Wild’) and Chris Brown (‘As Your Friend’) alongside a remix of Thirty Seconds To Mars’ ‘Do Or Die’.
Nick van der Wall, aka Afrojack, is one of the most notable and iconic names in electronic dance music (EDM) today. At 26 years old, he has been a key player in the worldwide explosion and popularity of EDM. The album is “set to shock”, says Afrojack. “It’s like an upside down world, it’s completely crazy. My album is meant, as most musical albums are meant, to listen and enjoy. I want it to be an experience.”
Having already collaborated with the likes of Madonna, Beyonce and David Guetta, topped the Billboard Charts, performed at some of the world’s most iconic music festivals, including Coachella, Ultra and Tomorrowland and become only the second DJ in history to place his hand prints in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, ‘Forget The World’ is sure to set a new benchmark in what’s sure to be another landmark year for Afrojack.
